Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0838828A1] The switch has a guide channel (6) which can have a stair or toothed section. Each section has a thin metallic strip (2,3,4) which connects to an electrical circuit. A magnetic peg (8) can be guided through the channel, with upward movements providing movement from one switch to the next. The magnetic peg attracts the metallic strip, opening the switch connection.
