[origin: EP0839483A2] The display stand (1) is for esp. electrical goods and their accessories, which are for sale. The stand has feet (55) which stand on the floor (2) and which support uprights (5) which are of H-cross-section. With a row of perforations (52) on each of their flanges. There is a sheet of flat board material fastened at its vertical edges to the uprights. The edges are in contact with the webs of the H-beams and are overlapped by the flanges. Crossbeams (14) may extend between the uprights in front of the sheet of board and may hold vertical frames (32) which may support the items (12) to be displayed.
