[origin: EP0839488A2] A vacuum cleaner has a handle (2) formed out of a hollow located in a lower shell (4) of the housing. The handle and the lower shell are a one- piece item, made from cast plastic. The handle is in the region of a suction pipe connection (3). Nearby is the dust chamber lid (5). On the lid is moulded a device to hang it in the region of the hollow and the lower housing shell has a corresponding recess for this device. In the upper region of the handle is a moulded groove (13) for a lid seal. The hollow has at the bottom a tapering bead. In the upper part of the hollow something is provided to hold the dust bag.
