Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0839665A1] The cassette has a housing (56) containing a take-off reel. The end of the belt (58) is locked by means of a hook (26) on the housing and separate from the belt being printed. The belt has an opening (30) near the end of the take-off reel (14) and matching the hook which hooks into it. The belt is pre-tensioned by means of an arm (24) on which the belt with its surface facing the hook rests. The cassette housing consists of a top and bottom half parallel with each other and holding the reel between them. The arm is positioned on the top or bottom half of the housing and is convexly curved.
