Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0839672A1] The method involves immersing the object (40) in a liquid on which the decoration (51) floats, if necessary on a supporting film (50). The decoration is transferred onto the object and previously heated with hot steam before the film is transferred. A heater (84) generating hot steam is used for heating the film and-or the decoration before the transfer.
