Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0839719A1] The machine has folder (10), preferably a rotating folder, which is supplied with pieces (12) of a thin foldable material such as paper or film. These pieces are cut off a sheet (19). A holder (34) extends across the sheet and captures the leading edge of the piece to transport it to the folder. The pieces are preferably separated from the sheet by a cutter (23) are transported around at least one roller (12) to contact with a counter-rotating suction roller (26). This suction roller has an axial trough which captures the piece and delivers it to the folder.
