Abstract (en)
To cut the weft inserted into the shed of a gripper loom, two cutters are operated by separate drives and controlled according to the position of the gripper within the weaving cycle. Also claimed is a gripper loom with a separate linear drive (22,23) for each cutter blade (24,25). A control system operates each drive (22,23) according to the position of the gripper head (16).

Bei dem Verfahren wird eine innerhalb eines Webzyklus tätigwerdende Schneidvorrichtung in Abhängigkeit der Stellung des Greifers innerhalb des Webzyklus angesteuert. Hierzu enthält eine Greiferwebmaschine Mittel (20, 31) zur Durchführung eines Soll-/Istwert-Vergleiches der Drehwinkel der Hauptwelle oder zur Bestimmung der Stellung des Greifers mittels der Webparameter. <IMAGE>
