[origin: EP0839966A1] The anchor has fibres embedded in a matrix and running parallel to the longitudinal direction of the anchor. The overall cross-section surface of the fibres runs constantly in the longitudinal direction of the wall anchor. The cross-sectional surface of the anchor in its longitudinal direction at least at certain positions (13,15,16,17) is varied. The wall anchor has a cross-section in the form of a rectangle, which has side lengths, the length mass of which varies position-wise dependent upon its position in the longitudinal direction of the wall anchor, whilst the cross-sectional surface of the anchor remains constant. The local proportion of the matrix to the fibres in the longitudinal direction of the wall anchor (14) remains constant.
