The back plate has an insert section for fitting into a recess and an edge section (9) which is a projection of the same material of the plastics coating (M) of a steel reinforcement plate (12). This reinforcement plate is preferably angled in cross-section. The edge sections form at the ends of the back plate angled arms (20,21) whose apex shape is adapted to the radius of curvature of the relevant frame edge. The thickness of the insert section corresponds to at least the opening depth and the plastics coating may be of various colours adapting to the door frame. Break off base sections can be connected to the plastics coating by ideal break lines.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Schließblech (1) mit einem in eine rahmenseitige Ausfräsung (5) einbaubaren Einsetzabschnitt mit Öffnungen (8) zum Eintritt von Verriegelungsgliedern und sich dem Einsetzabschnitt rückseitig abgestuft anschließenden Randabschnitt (9, 11), welcher zur Schlieβblech-Vorderseite fluchtend einen der Ausfräsung (5) benachbarten Rahmenbereich (A, B) überfängt. Zwecks Erzielung einer herstellungstechnisch günstigen, kostensparenden Bauform schlägt die Erfindung vor, daß der Randabschnitt (9, 11) die materialeinheitliche Fortsetzung einer Kunststoffummantelung (M) einer Stahlarmierungsplatte (12) ist. <IMAGE>
