Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0839985A2] The roll shutter or door is for furniture. It has a cord (7) passing through for weight compensation, with its free ends attached to a roll shutter profile (11) and passing round at least two deflection points (4,5) as a pulley. A pressure spring (6) is between the deflections which takes up a multiple of the movement force against the cord force. The assembly for the cord, deflections and spring is at the upper edge of the roller shutter or door.
