Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0840086A1] The launcher has a barrel (5) in which the missile lies ready supported by guide surfaces at its front end via props (3.1-3.4). When fired, the props pass out of the barrel and are released. The guide surfaces lie about a diameter smaller than the barrel. They are part of guides which extend along the whole barrel upto the mouth. The guides have slots (11) between them for the missile's guide vanes (2.1-2.4).
