Abstract (en)
The circuit breaker has a contact arrangement provided with switch members which cannot be burned away. The contact arrangement has a stationary switch member (3) and a switch member (4) which is movable along a central axis (2). It also has an insulating sleeve (6) which concentrically surrounds the switch members (3,4). The insulating sleeve(6) has a narrowed portion (7). The insulating sleeve (6) is structured such that resulting burn out channels (10) run perpendicular to the direction of the electric field force. The plastic is preferably an aliphatic polymer or an aromatic polymer. The aliphatic polymer and/or the aromatic polymer may be a polyamide or polyimide or polysulphate or polyphenylsulphate or a similar polymer or mixture of these.

Der Leistungsschalter mit einer mit abbrandfesten Schaltstücken ausgerüsteten Kontaktanordnung versehen, welche ein feststehendes Schaltstück (3) und ein entlang einer zentralen Achse (2) bewegliches Schaltstück (4) und eine die Schaltstücke (3,4) konzentrisch umgebende Isolierdüse (6) mit einem Engnis (7) aufweist. Die Isolierdüse (6) ist aus einem abbrandbeständigen Kunststoff gefertigt, und sie ist so strukturiert, dass sich ausbildende Ausbrandkanäle (10) senkrecht zur Richtung der elektrischen Feldbelastung verlaufen. Diese Isolierdüse (6) gibt beim Ausschalten Gase ab, welche die Blasdruckerzeugung in der Lichtbogenzone besonders wirksam unterstützen. <IMAGE>
