Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2736842A1] The device for positioning a binding on a snowboard is intended to engage into a rail portion (5) provided in the board. It comprises a central plate (3) placed on the board and intended to receive, directly or indirectly through a base, a boot retaining device; a sliding member (20) housed inside the rail portion (5) and a central stud (21) which connects the sliding member (20) to the plate (3); a friction means (22); an actuation means (23) which controls the central stud (21) translationally in order to modify the vertical position relative to the sliding member (20) inside the rail portion (5). One of the objectives is to provide a wide selection of continuous adjustment possibilities particularly in angular orientation and in longitudinal position of the plate with respect to the board.
