Abstract (en)
The serviette paper (18) is supplied to a conveyor belt (3) which is not as wide as the paper. At a loading station (28) the cutlery (1,2) is passed onto the paper. In the packing station (29) of the device, two coaxial winding rollers (12) are set spaced by the length of the cutlery at the sides of the belt. The rollers are first in an active position where they engage over the belt. The looping angle of the rollers can be increased by a guide roller (10), placed on the belt underside, so that the paper can roll round the winding rollers to enclose the cutlery. The loop of the rollers is then raised so that the conveyor belt stretches. Once the winding rollers are removed from the winding body, the paper lies loose on the belt and is moved to side closing devices (52), to close the end areas of the wrapped wound body.

Bei einer Vorrichtung zum Einpacken von Eßbesteck wird einem Förderband (3) Serviettenpapier (18) zugeführt. An einer Beladestation (28) gelangt das Besteck (1, 2) auf das vom Förderband (3) getragene Serviettenpapier. Sodann sind an den Förderbandseiten zwei koaxiale Wickelrollen (12) mit einem mindestens der Bestecklänge entsprechenden Abstand angeordnet. Das Serviettenpapier (18) ist breiter als das Förderband (3). Die Wickelrollen (12) befinden sich zunächst in einer aufeinander zu bewegten wirksamen Stellung, in der sie bis über das Förderband (3) greifen. Mit Hilfe einer Umlenkwalze (10) kann der Bandumschlingungswinkel der Wickelrollen (12) vergrößert werden, so daß sich das Serviettenpapierstück um die Wickelrollen (12) unter Einschluß des Bestecks rollen kann. Anschließend wird die Umschlingung der Wickelrollen (12) aufgehoben, so daß das Förderband eine Strecklage erhält. Nach Herausziehen der Wickelrollen (12) aus dem sich ergebenden Papier-Wickelkörper liegt dieser lose auf dem Förderband und wird zu seitlichen Verschließeinrichtungen (52) zum Verschließen der Wickelkörper-Endbereiche gefördert. <IMAGE>
