[origin: EP0841425A2] The mechanism to exchange the lower thread bobbin in a rotating looper, at an industrial sewing or embroidery machine, has a slide (4) with at least two coupling shafts (6,7) parallel to the looper drive shaft (5), each with a looper (8,9) at the ends away from the looper shaft. The ends towards the looper drive shaft have couplings (21-23) so that the slide, when the looper shaft is at rest, is at right angles to it and parallel to the plane of the needle plate, and can be reversed by the coupling shaft gap.
