[origin: EP0841453A2] A valve for a pressurised medium operating a door installation has various features. At least one pressure inlet (1) is available, which can be connected to a supply of the pressurised medium. There is at least one outlet available. There is available at least one working connection (40) that can be joined to at least one door adjusting device (80), like a positioning cylinder. The valve has at least two control connections (11, 21) which can be joined to a control unit (an electronic one, for example) and which serve to control the flow of the pressurised medium through the valve. Through the control connections the valve has means to join the work connection(s) alternately with the inlet (s) or outlet(s). At least at two places the valve has a flow cross-section and a changeover valve is available to switch between the one or other of them. This can be operated by the control pressure created by the control signal at one control connection.
