Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0841458A2] The seal comprises a sheet (1), which can be detachable from the inflatable bellows (2) and which is mounted between the doorway or opening in the wall and a channel-section holding component with struts absorbing thrust loads. The bellows and sheet can be divided into chambers forming sealing surfaces, and the holding component can be of ductile material, preferably plastics. The bellows can be inserted in a peripheral groove in a fixed plate.
