[origin: DE19646293C1] The plug-connector has a contact carrier (11) containing plug contact elements. A cladding of relatively weak plastic material surrounds the contact carrier (11) and an electronic circuit as well as connection leads. The cladding forms a ring-shaped tight collar (18) which extends over the end of the contact carrier (11) facing the mating plug part e.g. the solenoid valve. A material region is bound to the base of the collar (18). This covers the gap between the cladding and the contact carrier and touches the end surface of the contact carrier (11). The material region (21) extends over the end surface of the contact carrier (11) and connects the base or foot regions (22) of the collar together, at least in sections.
