Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19528641A1] The invention relates to a steering column switch which can be adapted to various switching operations with the same construction. The invention makes use of microswitches which can be selectively inserted in a recess of a support (2), with said recess fitted in the region of the control (1) of the steering column switch. Advantageous embodiments describe additional possible ways of actuating further microswitches (16, 22) independently of the rotary movement of the control (1) by means of an actuating button (23) in the control (1) or by switching means (15, 22) movable by the longitudinal movement of the control (1).
