Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19521668A1] Compounds have the formula (I), in which R<1> stands for S(O)nR<4>, SO2NR<5>R<6> or CONR<5>R<6>; A stands for a residue having the formula A<1> or, should R<1> stand for S(O)nR<4> or SO2NR<5>R<6>, may also stand for a residue having the formula A<2> R<7>R<8>C=N-NR<9>- (A<1>), R<10>R<11>N-NR<9>- (A<2>); and R<2> to R<11>, W, X, Y and Z have the definitions given in the first claim. These compounds are suitable as selective herbicides or plant growth regulators. The compounds having the formula (I) may be prepared in an analogous manner to known processes by using at least some new intermediate products (see process described in claim 5 and intermediate products having the formulas (II), (IV) and (VI)).
