Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0843079A1] The camshaft (1) has cams (4,5) angularly adjustable relative to one between stops (3,6). The cam shaft further has slots (9) formed in the cam mounting holes (7) directed at an angle to the camshaft axis (8) for the form-locking engagement of a special guide element (10) which is rigidly connected to a pin movably installed with a clearance fit in the camshaft. A restricting channel (13) passing through the pin and guide element is in communication with an oil passage (11). The guide element and slot form-lock engage with each other by corresponding guide faces (14,15).
