Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0843128A2] The outlet has an outer pipe (1) with internal noise insulation (2), which is arranged between the pipe and an inner tube (5). The latter bounds a throughflow channel (3) and has perforated walls (4). It also has connecting nozzles (6) with unperforated walls, which project at each end from connecting bases (7) on the pipe. The end edges (1') of the pipe are inserted into the inwards-cranked collars of the bases, in order to make a gastight seal. The edges and the collars have heat-resistant sealing equipment (8) arranged between them, and have holes which are distributed evenly around their perimeters, and which align with one another in order to accept rivets (10).
