Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9705557A1] The electronic game system comprises a central computer station (1), a peripheral computer station (25) and a data transmission network (32). The central computer station (1) comprises a player registration system (3), players score-keeping system (4), a data generation, storage and search system (5), a system (6) for recording the state of play, a system (7) for calculating scores based on game results, a system (8) for accepting and concluding bets, an executive game system (9), and a data exchange system (10). The central computer station includes systems for electronic payment (11), data protection (12), organisation of protected dealings (13), game selection (14), and mail (15). The data transmission network facilitates interaction between the peripheral computer station and central computer station in any combination of peripheral computer station types and includes a communications station (20) as well as the data transmission network (32). According to the proposed method of controlling and regulating this system, a player when registering identifies himself by a set of key signs which are forwarded to the central computer station where they are compared with individual data in the protection system. Data are switched to an individual coding mode and a message is sent to the administrator and to subjects present in the system; the player composes an initial command set and selects and indicates the selection criteria; the electronic game system is then automatically configured. The player is logged into one or more games and the score is kept per game. If the player's set of key signs does not match, an unsuccessful attempt is logged in the electronic protocol. Once the player has reached his allowed quota of such unsuccessful attempts, the trespass warning system is triggered and the player's account blocked.
