[origin: EP0844069A2] The machine has guide rails (6) which act as stops for folded cut-out sections (1). These sections are placed against rails (7) parallel with the direction of travel. The rails are moved to in front of a shaping-duct (2) and placed at right angles to the conveyor plane and into which an aligning piston (3) is inserted from the side of the cut-out piece facing the opening in the shaping-duct. The rails are moved at right angles to the direction of travel on the conveyor plane. The rails, before insertion of the piston into the shaping duct, are moved from the duct's extension, and, after the piston's withdrawal, are moved back into it.
