Abstract (en)
The corrugating machine comprises a series of corrugating bars (6) fixed to a driven endless chain (5), and a series of supporting bars (13) for the material (10) being corrugated. The corrugating bars are able to move relative to the endless chain, their movements being perpendicular to the plane of the supporting bars. The supporting bars have additional bars beneath them on a second endless chain to hold them up while a pressure is applied by the corrugating bars and acting at the same time as drying elements.

L'invention consiste en un machine ondulatrice comportant une pluralité de barres ondulatrices (6) fixées à une chaîne sans fin (5) entraînée en rotation et une pluralité de barres de support (13) du matériau à onduler (10) entraînées en translation et perpendiculaires à leur direction de déplacement, une partie (42) de la chaîne sans fin étant en regard du plan desdites barres de support, les barres ondulatrices et les barres de support correspondantes s'interpénétrant, caractérisée en ce que les barres ondulatrices (6) sont mobiles en translation par rapport à la chaîne sans fin (5), leurs déplacements s'effectuant sensiblement perpendiculairement au plan des barres de support lorsqu'elles sont en regard dudit plan. <IMAGE>
