Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0844104A2] The method of producing decorative facing involves producing a master mould (1). A negative mould is then taken from it, in soft material. From this a hard impression is made, forming a positive mould. The positive mould is used in its turn to make negative moulds or serial matrices, in soft material. These are used to manufacture the decorative components. Also claimed is a box mould (2) and its use for the process, with upper and lower sections having vent openings. Also claimed is the decorative component made as described, forming a modular construction system, the elements of which have mutually compatible contours.
