Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0844455A2] The vehicle comprises a hull containing a personnel chamber, a chain drive and an unmanned turret in the upper part on a turntable in the top plate. The turret contains a large calibre machine cannon of up to 50 mm calibre. The turret is made up of two flat housings. The first housing (3.1) is connected to the turntable (2) and has a U-shaped frame open towards the front of the turret and holding the second housing (3.2). The second housing pivots in elevation in the first housing. The machine cannon, cartridge magazine and delivery mechanism are mounted in the second housing.
