[origin: EP0844525A1] An image forming method of a silver halide light sensitive photographic material having at least one color image forming layer containing a silver halide emulsion and a dye forming coupler, the image forming method comprising the steps of exposing the photographic material to light and subjecting the exposed photographic material to amplification development to form a dye image, wherein the color image forming layer contains a coupler capable of forming a dye, upon development, having a molar extinction coefficient at a wavelength of an absorption maximum of 60,000 or more.
