[origin: EP0844594A2] The switch has an attachment (4) for mounting on a plane, and a sensor (5) with a housing containing at least one sensor and an electrical circuit. The sensor and electrical circuit are adjustable via externally accessible actuating elements. At least one component, e.g. a potentiometer, can be adjusted during operation. The sensor housing is covered by a lid (36) which can be raised and which makes the actuating elements (68,71) accessible when in the raised state. The cover can slide in guides in the sensor housing.
