Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0844753A2] The method involves optionally activating a block so that a change in the programme service name can only be adopted for display by changing the programme identifier code. The block is active for all preprogrammed radio programmes and all that are selected whilst the block is active. If the programme identifier code changes, the programme service name from the RDS signal is only adopted for display if there is no stored service name corresponding to the new programme identifier code.
