Abstract (en)
To use correction data having different lengths and to obtain flexibility in the use of data items, basic control data are stored in a ROM 6, and correction data related to the basic control data are stored in an OTPROM 7. The correction data have different data lengths based on the items to which they relate. The OTPROM 7 has discrimination codes for discriminating items and data lengths of the correction data and respective corresponding correction data in pairs. The correction data is transmitted from the OTPROM 7 to a back-up memory 8. A CPU 9 carries out an operation based on the data stored in the ROM 6 and the back-up memory 8. <IMAGE>
