[origin: EP0846501A2] The conveyor immerses at the input end of the conveyor (4) as far as the lower area and a first loop (5) reaching into the upper area runs through, having lower first and second deflections (6,7) and a central deflection (8). The lower deflections of the first loop are displaced in relation to the output side end and the central deflection of the first loop is displaced in relation to the inlet side end of the immersion bath. The first loop has an asymmetrical course with a horizontal alignment.
