[origin: EP0846556A2] The arrangement has several identical stacked modules (1) at equal intervals in a housing with nozzle areas protruding into associated grooves in a base plate. The modules are held in place by force and shape locking involving a spring element and a common adapter for ink connections. The modules lie on the end face of the groove with a reference edge and with shoulders formed on the end of the nozzle surfaces in the base plate so as to protrude with the nozzle surfaces at least as far as the plane formed by the outside of the base plate. The modules are electrically connected to a bus adapter.
