Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0846619A1] The deliverer delivers a strip of wrapping material for groups of cigarettes along a delivery path. It has two items to do the delivery, one after the other. Of these, the second item has circulating suction belt conveyors detecting the wrapping material at its edges. The first item (8) detects the wrapping material (1) approximately in the middle and delivers it onwards to the second item (9). The first item is at least one circulating conveyor belt (11) with a delivery side of the belt running parallel to the delivery direction (7) of the strip. To the first item on the side of the strip facing away from it is assigned an item pressing the material against it.
