[origin: EP0846797A1] The warp knitter, with a Jacquard guide needle bar, has fixed limit stops to define the end positions of the oscillating guide needles, and additional limit stops (15,16) which are activated selectively by a control. When they are activated, the guide needle (7) is held in a middle position, where neighbouring middle positions are at an interval of four-times the needle interval.
