Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0846874A2] A longitudinal groove (27) in a machine part, particularly a working cylinder (26), contains a cylinder valve (10) with a housing (11) for a sensor which emits a signal when the cylinder piston passes by. The valve is retained by a fastening device (12) with at least two extensions (16) with inclined surfaces (29) rising transverse to the groove, on which a clamping body (23) with corresponding opposing flanks bears. The clamping body can be moved by a fastener (22) relative to the extensions so that the cylinder valve can be centred by spreading of the extensions in the groove. Preferably, the inclined faces of the extensions face each other and rise towards the opening of the groove. The outer contour of the extensions preferably match the inner contour of the groove.
