[origin: EP0847721A2] The vacuum cleaner has a housing with handle (1) which contains a tank (4) for holding a liquid and an electric motor (7) to drive a fan (8). A suction section (2) is detachable from the drive section and has an air intake (18) and a spray nozzle (24) for the liquid. The liquid is conveyed from the tank to the spray nozzle by a separable delivery system. The system can include a pump which can be electrically driven or manually operated and a hose with a detachable union
