[origin: DE19653732C1] The guide has a catch carriage (5) for the start of the strip (B) leaving the last stand at a rolling speed. The carriage sits between the last stand of the hot strip mill and the hot strip reel and is moved by an acceleration and deceleration drive mechanism (20). The strip is accelerated from a non-operating position directly behind the stand to at least a speed corresponding to the delivery speed, and is braked in front of the reel. The carriage runs on rails (4) parallel with the cooling rollers.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Warmbandführung im Bereich eines Kühlrollganges zwischen einer Warmbandstraße und dem im Abstand dazu angeordneten Warmbandhaspel. Dabei ist zwischen dem letzten Gerüst der Warmbandstraße und dem Warmbandhaspel ein verfahrbarer Fangwagen (5) für den Anfang des das letzte Gerüst mit Walzgeschwindigkeit verlassenden Bandes (B) vorgesehen, der aus einer Ruhestellung unmittelbar hinter dem Gerüst auf mindestens eine der Auslaufgeschwindigkeit des Bandes (B) entsprechende Geschwindigkeit beschleunigbar und vor dem Haspel abbremsbar ist und der mit Einrichtungen zum Fangen, Festhalten und Freigeben des Bandanfanges (27) während seines Verfahrweges ausgerüstet ist. <IMAGE>
