Abstract (en)

The method concerns temperature control and levelling of the temperature profile of molten metal, in particular, steel stream during its passage through an outlet unit (9) of a metallurgical vessel and consists of heating the stream in the outlet region - by inductive electromagnetic coupling of the outlet unit and/or the stream - by means of an electromagnetic alternating field, and stirring it by inductive coupling by means of a spatially variable magnetic field.

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Regelung der Temperatur und zur Vergleichmäßigung des Temperaturprofils eines schmelzenflüssigen, metallischen Stranges, insbesondere Stahlstranges, beim Durchfließen eines Ausgusses in einem metallurgischen Gefäß vorgeschlagen, wobei der Strang in dem Ausguß durch induktives elektromagnetisches Ankoppeln des Ausgusses und/oder des Stranges mittels eines elektromagnetischen Wechselfeldes aufgeheizt wird und durch induktives Ankoppeln des Stranges mittels wenigstens eines räumlich veränderlichen Magnetfeldes gerührt wird. <IMAGE>
