[origin: EP0847856A2] The sheets of paper are transported in a printing machine in sequence and after dusting are collected in a stack (21) so that the back of one sheet (22) lies on top of the front of the previous sheet. The sheets are dusted by passing them through a curtain (28) of powder gas consisting of particles of powder in a gas carrier. The powder gas dusts each sheet of paper on the back side. The powder curtain can be formed by a nozzle bar discharging the powder gas.
