Abstract (en)
A process for the production of decorative functional objects is claimed. A first semi-finished product is formed by deep drawing of a solid polymer composition or by injection moulding of a liquid material. A second semi-finished product is prepared; from the same or from a different starting material, in which a granulated, solid material is made liquid by heat and pressure and is sucked into a vacuum mould where it is hardened by polymerisation. At least the second semi-finished product is deep drawn in order to apply solid decorative media before the semi-finished products are joined by bonding with acrylate or epoxy adhesive or by contact adhesion under pressure. Decorative functional objects prepared by the process are also claimed, preferably table plates, wall panels, tiles, floor tiles, toilet seats and toilet lids.

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von dekorativen Gebrauchsgegenständen beschrieben, mit dem eine wesentlich höhere Lebensdauer des Dekors erreicht wird, wozu das Dekor nicht äußerlich aufgebracht, sondern in das Innere des Gebrauchsgegenstandes eingearbeitet wird. Gleichzeitig werden auch nach dem Verfahren hergestellte Gebrauchsgegenstände beschrieben.
