Abstract (en)
The skirting board is made in sections, each with a near vertical face in the middle, a curved tapering upper edge and a curved widening lower edge. The sections have flat vertical ends (5,6) and are joined together end to end by interlocking tongues (8) and grooves (7). Corner joints are covered by appropriately-shaped components, also with tongues and grooves. The skirting board sections are made, for example, from a composition material of silica granules coated with polyester resin.

Chacun des éléments allongés profilés (1) alignés le long d'un mur pour former une plinthe présente à ses deux extrémités (5, 6) respectivement une mortaise (7) et des tenons (8), les tenons d'un élément coopérant avec la mortaise d'un élément voisin pour assurer un alignement précis des deux éléments. De plus il est prévu des éléments d'angle rentrants et saillants, et des éléments de tête à placer au bord des ouvertures du mur, se raccordant aux éléments de base (1). <IMAGE>
