[origin: EP0848127A1] The fixture is for a fitting (7), with a base (8), recessed into lengthwise grooves or ducts through a lengthwise opening or gap between back-tapered parts. The base is supported on the bottom of the grooves or ducts, or on the outer surfaces of the opening's profile. An anchoring claw (12) expands sideways from the base into the back-tapered parts of the lengthwise grooves or ducts. It is fixed by tightening tension members such as screws. The anchoring claws slope outwards and have an abutment in the form of a support plate (13) in the base. The support plate is held against the pressure claws by the tension members.
