Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0848401A2] The thermal switch (1) has a guide part (5) with a bearing holder (4) mounted on a socket (3). The bearing holder has a setting cage guide (6a,6b) and contains a rotatable setting shaft (7). The setting shaft carries a handle on its free end (8) and acts on the cage guide with a sensing protrusion (10). The other end of the setting shaft acts on switching element parts e.g. a spring (13), bimetallic element (17) or movement contact (15). The guide part is a strip of sheet material. The cage guide is pressed into the free end (19) of the guide part contg. the bearing holder
