[origin: WO9709663A1] The invention concerns a process for automatically controlling a hydraulic servo-valve with a hydraulic slide valve (1) which is displaced by a rotary actuator (12). The process involves a first loop (2, 5, 11, 12, 4) for automatically controlling the delivery as a function of the measurement of the angular position of the rotary actuator, and a second automatic control loop (1, 3, 6, 21, 22, 23, 11, 12, 4, 2) with variable control as a function of the pressure measurement. The invention is characterized in that the first automatic control loop is a proportional action loop whose increase (Kpa) is constant for values of the absolute pressure difference value ( epsilon p) which are less than at least a threshold value, then varies in an increasing manner for values of the absolute pressure difference value ( epsilon p) which are greater than this first threshold.
