Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0849008A2] The ventilator unit comprises two or more ventilators each with a suction intake and exhaust pipe. All the suction intake pipes (24) of all of the ventilators and each supply pipe for the air to be sucked out open into a common air-tight suction chamber (18). All the exhaust pipes of all the ventilators and at least one collecting exhaust pipe (12) can open into a common airtight pressure chamber (22). All the exhaust pipes of the ventilators have non-return flaps (21). Sound absorbing devices can be provided in the collecting exhaust air pipe. The suction intake pipes of the ventilators can have suction nozzles with protective grids.
