Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0849036A1] The fire baked bricks and tiles (1) are transported past two milling stations (5,5') on two parallel drive belts (3). They are held down onto the drive belts by a third drive belt (4). Between the two milling stations, a vertical support frame (7) stabilises the belt drives and prevents vibrations from being transmitted between the milling stations. The milling stations finish the bricks/tiles to the correct dimensions. Each milling station has milling rotors and protective cowls. The elastic drive belts are reinforced and are profiled on the rear to run over drive gears and for alignment control.
