[origin: EP0849052A2] A throttle air inlet for a pneumatic tool which includes a swivel air inlet bushing for rotatably attaching the pneumatic tool to a pressurized air supply hose. The air inlet bushing includes a first groove, formed on an exterior surface of the bushing, which rotatably mates with a pin-roll inserted in the handle of the pneumatic tool. This configuration allows the air inlet bushing to rotate about its longitudinal axis within the handle of the pneumatic tool. When the air supply hose is attached to the exterior end of the air inlet bushing, the pneumatic tool can be swiveled independently of the air supply hose. <IMAGE>
