[origin: EP0849542A2] The heating device uses an electric storage heating device (13), through which the room air is circulated, in combination with a heat exchanger (27) for pre-heating fresh air from the outside by extracted room air. The heat exchanger is inserted in the path of the fresh air, which is fed from the heat exchanger onto the warm surfaces of the storage heating device outside the heat storage core (21), so that it reaches room temperature before being discharged into the room.
