Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0849656A2] The pushbutton (10) is moved against a spring force from a first to a second stable position and can be moved back by the spring force. A latching element slides against a slide surface arrangement under spring force with two approximately parallel slide surfaces (17,18) forming a closed slide path with a separating wall (25) between them. The latching element slides on the first and second surface when the pushbutton is depressed and released respectively. The separating wall has a latching hole (26) which holds the latching element in the second stable position. The slide surfaces are at different distances from a reference surface with a step (24) between them at their junction which prevents the latching element from passing onto the second slide surface when the pushbutton is depressed.
